Meet the Owner
I’m Nicki, the owner & director of Ms. Nicki's Childcare. Opening a daycare center was a natural choice for me, driven by my passion for nurturing young minds and creating a safe, engaging environment. I wanted to provide a space where parents could feel confident leaving their little ones, knowing they would receive quality care and education. By fostering early development through play and learning, I aim to make a positive impact on both children and families in our community.

Infant Room
Ages 6 weeks - 15 months old
Our infant program focuses on nurturing growth through play while adapting to each child's individual needs and schedules. We provide a safe space where children can explore, learn, and grow!
Infant Teachers
Ms. Emily
Hi, my name is Ms. Emily. I have been involved in multiple childcare centers around the United States starting as early as 2001. I started working as the Infant Room Teacher for Ms. Nicki's Childcare in November of 2019. I have a daughter, two step sons and a shared daughter with my current husband. My favorite color is purple-representing Survivor of Cancer (Twice). I absolutely adore the Pitbull breed as they are so misunderstood, I've had several as part of my family over the years. My personal mission as an infant room teacher is to provide a variety of first hand experiences that help children to develop overall. This includes providing basic care, affection, and activities that stimulate a child's senses, movement, and thinking throughout their day with me.
Ms. Jessica
My name is Ms. Jessica, and I am an Infant Teacher. I am a vegetarian. I like to watch football and The Walking Dead. I have 4 cats and a Frenchie.
Toddler Room
Ages 15 months old - 2 years old
This is the perfect place for your child to learn valuable communication, self-regulation, and coping skills while navigating their big emotions. We focus on laying the foundation for a positive learning experience. With our fun hands-on and playful learning opportunities, your child will be captivated while learning a variety of new skills and perfecting the old!

My name is Ms. Hollie, and I am the Toddler Teacher. I am a mom to 2 daughters. I love to Cricut and camp. I also like to garage sale and go thrifting. My mission for the toddlers in my care is to work together, learn new things each day, and to be a good friend!
Ms. Autumn
My name is Ms. Autumn. I am a mom to a baby boy. I like working in childcare because I love working with children. I have a large family with 8 siblings. I love cows and my family. My goal as a teacher is to make learning fun!
Two Year Old Room
We believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience for every child. Our curriculum is created to ensure that they're always engaged and excited about the learning process. We also place a strong emphasis on social and emotional development, providing a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive!

Ms. Ava
My name is Ms. Ava. I am an Assistant Director and the 2-year-old teacher. I graduated college in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a BFA in Dance. When I am not working at Ms. Nicki’s, I am teaching dance! I love teaching because of how rewarding it feels to see the children learn and overcome obstacles. In my free time, I like to read and go thrift shopping.
Ms. Caylie
My name is Ms. Caylie and I am a 2-year-old Teacher. When I am not at Ms. Nicki’s, I enjoy hanging out with my daughter and my husband! I love taking my 3 dogs on walks and cuddling my 5 cats. I enjoy listening to Taylor Swift and watching scary movies. My goal as a teacher is to help the children form relationships with their peers and learn about their emotions!
3 Year Old Preschool

My name is Ms. Jenny. I live in Peotone with my husband and 2 sons. In my free time I enjoy gardening, baseball games (Go Cubs Go!), and going to the beach! I have worked in childcare since 2013. I am a Director and the 3’s Teacher. My goal as a teacher is to provide a safe environment where the children can learn through playing, exploring, and creating!

Designed for young learners, our program provides a nurturing environment where children can explore, play, and grow. My name is Ms. Tricia. I am the 4-year-old teacher. I am a mom of 3 who loves crafting, being outside, and learning new things. I enjoy traveling and going to new places, as well as thrifting. My mission as a 4 year old preschool teacher is to prepare my kiddos for kindergarten while having fun! I try to do this through encouraging creativity, positive reinforcement, and teamwork!
Ms. Andrea
My name is Ms. Andrea, and I have been working with children for 7 years. Kids and animals are my love in life. I live in Monee with my husband, and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. As a teacher, it is my goal to form close bonds with the children demonstrating love, trust, and respect, to ensure safety and happiness. Also, to dedicate time and patience to provide education and self-confidence.
3's & 4's Part Time Pre-K
Hours are 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Our part time pre-k program is designed to prepare your child for a successful transition to school! Our engaging curriculum focuses on essential skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social development through fun and interactive activities. With the guidance of our experienced teachers, your child will gain the confidence and knowledge needed to thrive in a classroom setting. My name is Ms. Sarah. I am a Preschool Teacher and the School Age Teacher. I am married, have 2 teenage daughters, and 2 puppies. I love being outside, jet skiing, boating, and snowmobiling. Ms. Emma
Hi! My name is Ms. Emma. I have been a part of Ms. Nicki’s Childcare since June of 2024. I live locally with my partner and my dog. I am currently a student at Governor’s State University where I am pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Students and I will work together to not only create a positive and welcoming environment in the classroom, but an environment that builds the child's social-emotional and life skills. Children in my classroom will learn and also build relationships with their peers by engaging in play. Through this, we can foster the child's development in all areas and help them learn to think critically and problem solve.
Ms. Kim
My name is Ms. Kim. I am married, have 3 daughters, and 3 grandkids. I have been teaching since 2001. My goal as a teacher is to help children learn and grow to be the best that they can. Also, to be there for them and to help in any way I can.
